It's October, and what better time to add socks to your knitting repertoire? I was always afraid of sock knitting, for some reason the heel, especially the turning, intimidated me. Once I dove in, I discovered how simple it really is, and I was hooked. First, I knitted multiple pairs for my husband, then I started designing some for my Ravelry shop.
In my shop, I have two pairs of two-needle socks, which are wonderful to learn on. you knit them flat, which helps you learn all the anatomy of the sock, then you seam them up the back, using a crochet hook and a slip stitch. Easy Peasy!
The other patterns I have available are holiday stockings, which are another great way to learn

the basics of sock knitting, because they contain all the elements of sock knitting, but in extra-large format, so you can learn on the large socks, then transfer what you learn to smaller socks for your family.
Either way, if you want to delve deep into knitting sock holiday patterns, my designs may be the way for you to try it and see if you get hooked.
Hope you enjoy Socktober, and you get into sock knitting! You can find my patterns at my Ravelry Store. You can also find the finished socks right here in my store, if you can't wait for your holiday socks!
